STAR MANDALAS

Except for the two Sandprint mandalas, the original image from which these mandalas were created is a photo of my foot in the sand. To me, these mandalas have a playful, abstract quality, more removed from a real-world object than any of the other mandalas.

The first four of these mandalas became the source images for my Star Transformations series, even further removing them from the real-world objects from whence they came.
